Sunday December 5th – Come to a free day event where you don’t have to plan, book a hotel or pay – just come and enjoy some of the best roads in Australia and a relaxed lunch.
This was such a tough list to cut down! This is our team’s best day’s on a bike anywhere in the world. It isn’t just a list of amazing climbs and cols but they do feature. We also have best descent, loop ride, lake ride and island ride. Take a look and dream away…
Epic cols on epic journeys… all of our Odysseys have a challenging climb or two, famous and not so famous. Here is one we are looking forward too next April in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. The super gradual long and aptly Tiz n’Test! This is an optional climb from our spectacular hotel in the hills Domaine de la Roseraie. (a great place to return to after any ride!)
Isn’t history dead? Why do you think it’s important?
History helps us understand who we are, why we behave as we do, and why we live in the world that we do – the modern world that we have created. The past is not inhabited with strangers but our relatives – people just like us who are waiting to be discovered and hoping to be understood. All you’ve got to do is to look in the right places and to ask the right questions and it’ll change the way that you think about the past – and the present – forever.
Bike Odyssey founder Sam Wood comes from a very different background to most bike tour operators. From cycling for the BBC to directing archaeological excavations around the world he brings a unique angle to Bike Odyssey’s touring portfolio.
