Swap pachyderms for pedals as you ride to Rome in the footsteps of Hannibal, one of history’s greatest military commanders.
Ever been curious about what actually happens on a bike tour? This year Bike Odyssey has brought in cycling escapes in Australia to keep people motivated and travelling locally while international travel remains off-limits.
We are proud to win Best Boutique Cycle Tour Operator 2021 Most Unique Cycling Experiences 2021 in Lux Magazine for 2021.
The best climb in Tasmania?
If you don’t mind a bit of gravel this would be hard to argue with. Spectacular views, super quiet roads, switchbacks, hors categories climbing…
In 2019 we made this part of our Tasmania – UnderDownunder Odyssey. Prior to this we had bypassed to the north, unwilling to test our roadie crowd on the dirt. However we certainly haven’t regretted the change as it certainly is a climb to remember, up there with the European greats.
We have a Plan A and Plan B for 2021 and we have been working hard to ensure that, even if Covid holds the world ransom a little longer, we have great travel adventures available to you.
We are again proud to be listed in Outside Magazine’s Epic Trips of 2021! With everyone looking ahead to grand trips to celebrate travel’s eventual reopening, Our Othello – Marrakesh to Porto trip made the highly prized list.
This was such a tough list to cut down! This is our team’s best day’s on a bike anywhere in the world. It isn’t just a list of amazing climbs and cols but they do feature. We also have best descent, loop ride, lake ride and island ride. Take a look and dream away…
Ride some of the best roads in Australia, as chosen by l’Etape and the UCI World Championships. Eat at one of Australia’s finest restaurants Buon Ricordo, and stay in the Southern Highlands premier historic residence Kalinya Estate.
Epic cols on epic journeys… all of our Odysseys have a challenging climb or two, famous and not so famous. Here is one we are looking forward too next April in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. The super gradual long and aptly Tiz n’Test! This is an optional climb from our spectacular hotel in the hills Domaine de la Roseraie. (a great place to return to after any ride!)
What a day! In setting up Othello in Morocco we wanted to cover the great known locations but also break new ground for bike touring beyond just crossing the country and the Atlas Mountains multiple times!
