Born and raised in northern Germany, Isabell has long been captivated by Greece. She fell in love with its warm and welcoming people, spectacular natural landscapes, rich culture, delicious cuisine, expressive language, and, above all, the sea.
After completing a Master's degree in Literature and Scandinavian Studies, she spent several years working as a teacher and nature educator. Over time, however, she realized that her passion for Greece was even stronger than her passion for teaching. As one of her former students once remarked, “You fit in much better in the south because you're always in such a good mood.”
Today, Isabell lives on the beautiful island of Corfu, where she cares for her beehives, chickens, and garden, explores the island by bike and on foot, and enjoys dancing and making music with her local neighbours. She is equally passionate about discovering the impressive mountain landscapes of mainland Greece.
In 2021, Isabell began guiding hiking and cycling tours and quickly realized that being a teacher and being a tour guide have a great deal in common: both are about sharing knowledge, creating meaningful experiences, and inspiring curiosity. She is dedicated to offering guests an authentic, personal introduction to the Greece she knows and loves.
