Morocco Crew

Abdu leads our on-the-ground local Moroccan Team and they are absolutely brilliant. They read our needs, but they don't ride, relax and have to be forced to refresh! There is not a team who works harder round the clock. The only time they are unavailable is when they are praying towards Mecca for a few minutes at intervals during the day!

They will be up getting snacks for us in the mornings long before light. Loading our bikes and luggage as needed. Driving between us in multiple vehicles all day scouting ahead for (sometimes unnerving) kids in villages wanting to high five us as we ride through. They mark every turn en route! (there aren't many turns to be fair, but they are super careful that we don't get lost!) If you stop to take off a layer, they have pulled up behind you to take it for you before it is even off your arms. If you stop to take a drink, they are there to refill it or accompany it with a snack. You will never have felt so looked after on tour.

Not only are they great support though, they give everyone such a beautiful insight into the local culture and people. Explaining things on the way, about how people are and why, what the locals are saying or asking and a great intermediary between our vastly different cultures. This Moroccan Team absolutely makes your Othello Odyssey deep and meaningful on a new level.
