Two nights in the same hotel but not a Rest Day. However, we had a more leisurely 30 km ride out and 30 km ride back to the hotel.

The Villarrica volcano always looming…and it was active! (look closely at the summit)
The destination in the middle of the ride was a hot springs up in the mountains, named Termas Quimey-Co. Water temperature was 39C with no hint of sulphur smell. The adjacent fast flowing river was nice and cold for a refreshing dip after superheating in the hot springs.
The ride was a little rough with lots of pot holes but the return ride was mostly downhill.
Relax at the hotel for the big mountain day tomorrow.
