Big day with the bulk of the climbing towards the end.  Coffee at Almodovar.   Andrew & Thys were our castle photographers as the rest of us conserved our energy for the long day ahead.

The olive trees receded and citrus orchards became our roadside viewing.  The route took us into the Parque Naturel Sierra de Hornachuelos – known for eagle habitat- and we did spot a few eagles soaring above the fields.
