A beautiful but tough day for the cyclists with never ending rollers and bumpy roads.  Really tiny remote villages with narrow cobbled streets and it seemed there were not many ‘downs’ compared to the never ending ’ups’ .

However beautiful scenery with lavender and Gum Rock Roses (aka fried egg flower) lining the road.

Today I opted for the van as I was in great discomfort from thoracic muscle spasms.  A good decision as with my stretching throughout the day and a swim in the hotel pool really helped my mobilization.  Will be back on the bike tomorrow!
