Distance:   105 km     Total Ascent:   1,157 metres

Rolling ride through rocky open terrain and a climb up Tiz n’Tinififft allowing us to enjoy a gentle descent into the Draa Valley and out into the Sahara beyond. (but no sand yet).  

A lovely quiet road showcased Berber villages, some looking abandoned and derelict and others with quite modern structures. 

The scenery softened around these villages with large expanses of palm groves.

The afternoon heat was up in the mid 30°s, so at 105km Gaylene and I bailed as continuing to 165km seemed a very very long way.  Grabbing the support van (and picking up Moyra after another 10km) meant that we had another couple of hours to use the pool and relax at the Riad in Zagora.
