A wonderful descent to the valley floor, a bit of rolling along that flat, a hard climb and a gradual descent for the rest of the day through drop-dead gorgeous country. I <em><strong>thought<\/strong><\/em> we were going to be finished with such gradients for a while after the past few days. I was still gasping and trying to compose myself so didn&#8217;t get a photo of any of them arriving.<\/p>\n<p>We all found the climb pretty taxing but taken in the context of the ride as a whole I am sure we&#8217;d all agree we are delighted to have done it. What followed was no less than nirvana on two wheels. And of course have a cold bevvy with our fellow riders.
