In 1655, after the Thirty Years’ War, the first Lindauer Kinderfest <\/i>(children’s festival) was held, in memory of the war. This festival introduced by Lindau councillor Valentin Heider makes up an important part of the town’s identity nowadays, too. And guess what it TODAY…<\/p>\n

This is how it begins at 6.30am, when all good good cyclists are trying to sleep in on their rest day…<\/p>\n
