Clearly the tourist popularity of this area (along with better access to water from the River Dades) has made a very positive impact on these villages.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The real drawcard of this ride was the final section of the 30km climb where the road zigzagged up through some impressive switchbacks.&nbsp; After coffee on the sunny terrace half the group decided to push on for another 20kms.&nbsp; Gaylene &amp; I lingered over a very pleasant coffee before the most delightful cruise back down the switchbacks, catching up with Bernie at a terraced cafe for lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex
