A very meditative & peaceful day.  After leaving Grenada our route took us into the heart of Spain’s olive growing district with the Sierra Nevada receding into the distance. The girls now outnumber the boys with Chris and Brian finishing in Grenada.

Just a fantastic rolling ride through the olive groves that stretched to the horizon on both sides of the road.  So quiet, minimal traffic – just perfect.

Coffee stop was at Moclín which looked very daunting from a distance but was worth the climb (and subsequent descent).

if you want an ‘olive grove’ change – here are two possible properties ripe for renovation!

And a brush with fame… apparently Bruno and Bern were passed (speedily) on a hill climb by none other than Alejandro Valverde – but he did acknowledge them as fellow cyclists!
