Two nights in the same hotel but not a Rest Day. However, we had a more leisurely 30 km ride out and 30 km ride back to the hotel.<\/p>\n

The Villarrica volcano always looming…and it was active! (look closely at the summit)<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

The destination in the middle of the ride was a hot springs up in the mountains, named Termas Quimey-Co. Water temperature was 39C with\u00a0 <\/span>no hint of sulphur smell. The adjacent fast flowing river was nice and cold for a refreshing dip after superheating in the hot springs.<\/p>\n

The ride was a little rough with lots of pot holes but the return ride was mostly downhill.<\/p>\n

Relax at the hotel for the big mountain day tomorrow.<\/p>\n
